Ya know....I wish I had a good reason as to why it takes me so long to get over here, and update this page. I've said it before, but all I can do as promise to get the lead out, and do it ever week or so.

But for those who've popped in to see what I've been up to will finally get that payoff for their undying patience. I've gotten all my latest wallpapers together, and should be doing a content update that will consist of over FORTY new backgrounds!!!!

The content is all the stuff that I've loaded onto my Deviant Art page; so those of you who may have followed me over there...well, it may not be new, but at least it's finally come home to Ground Zero. I will, however, go a bit more detail on the "how and why" each piece came to be, so there will something new for everybody.

I'll Also be sorting the wallpaper page into categories, hopefully making it a whole lot easier to navigate. This was on the list "to do" during the last update, but some issues with a web page design forced me to slip this page onto the back burner until I got the previously mentioned page sorted out.

One of the bigger sections of new designs will be the "Crimson Raptor" characters and content. Initially, I'd thought of this as a sort of graphic novel, but after some positive reviews on a synopsis of the story, it has morphed itself into a full blown novel. I have to admit, I kinda like the idea of seeing something I wrote sitting on a store shelf or paperback rack; but that's a long way off. I've only just started on the initial chapter, and the development of the characters. Personally, I find it much easier to write for a character if I have a "face" to go with he words. With this in mind, this area will probably see a good bit of activity as I try to flesh these people out a bit. We've already seen some significant adjustments to the characters of Sophie and Emma Pryde, as well as the mysterious "Souix". More on what his is going to be about will be added to the Crimson Raptor area, and (once up) easily accessible by clicking on the "Crimson Raptor" link on the navbar....it'll be replacing the "WMD Forums" button.

Needless to say, this is a lot; and will take some time to finish. All I ask is that you bear with me, and let's see where this takes us. If you'd like to sound off, offer an idea, criticism, or just to say "Hi", Feel free to click the "Contact GZFFX" button at the bottom of the page, and say what ever you've got on your mind. Any feedback is appreciated!!

Well, that's about it for today. The upgrades will likely begin either tomorrow, or Monday (Sept. 14, 2009), so please keep that in mind as you navigate the site. If you hit an unavailable area, Just give me a few minutes, and it should be up with the upgrades installed.....and, as always thank you so much for stopping by!!!

The Song, "Heroes" by the legendary band Motorhead can be found on their 2008 album "Motorizer". These guys have been together for a long time, and (with any luck)they'll be together just as long. If your in the mood for some no nonsense, in your face rock and roll, you owe it to yourself to pick up one of their CD's, and commence to bang your head along with the music. The louder, the better. Your neighbors will hate it, but at the same time, they'll be too scared to death to complain. Those of you who are fans of WWE might recognize them from such entrance themes as "Line in the Sand (aka the Evolution theme); 'The Game' and 'King of Kings'; both being used by HHH. "Badass" only begins to describe these guys; but don't take my word for it, go pick up one of their CD's, and see for yourself.

Of course, all rights to the song are the intellectual property of the band, and their label. I am merely a devoted fan, who's enjoyed their music for years, and sincerely hope that the song "Heroes" will prompt you to take the time to check them out for yourself at their home site which can be found at http://www.imotorhead.com
